Judge killed in his Atlanta courtroom

This is obviously terrible. An interesting observation I made is that the defendant grabbed the gun from a deputy. When this can happen in a courtroom with a number of armed deputies, what can happen on a plane if somebody "grabs" a gun from the air marshall?
No guns = nobody gets shot!
